The Life You Imagine is Waiting—If You Don’t Give Up on It

Life Just Right: The Many Paths to Achieving Your Dreams
Dreams are personal, limitless, and deeply connected to our future self; visions that pull us forward, and whispers of possibility and reminders of who we are becoming. They are about embracing the 'whole' you. Yet, so often, we commit energy convincing ourselves that our dreams are out of reach. But what if we embraced our dreams with child-like inhibition, unafraid to imagine and explore the endless ways they can unfold.
Remember when you were a child and could lose yourself in a world of make-believe? There were no barriers, no inhibitions, no limitations—just the joy of creating possibilities and the dinner bell as the sun set on another day. Yes, the practicalities of life can dim that light, having us believe dreaming is a luxury rather than a necessity. With imagination we open ourselves to paths we might never have considered. And living today like we have reached tomorrow is the path to 'life just right.'

Letting Go of Limiting Beliefs
Our biggest obstacles many times come from within us. The voice that says, "I can't afford that," "I'm not strong enough," or "That’s not realistic", or "I don't deserve this". Jim Carrey shared in his 2014 commencement speech, "we choose our path simply out of fear disguised as practicality." In other words, we are telling ourselves the right thing is the 'responsible' thing, instead of the thing we dream of someday doing. What if financial freedom, physical triumphs, or the perfect home space can be reached when we don't give up on them (so darn easily)? Dreaming is about experiencing the joy of possibility. Picture yourself waking up to a life where money is no longer a source of stress, where your body feels strong and capable, where your home is a sanctuary of comfort and beauty. How does that feel? It's that feeling that will lead you to the steps to making it real. When we give ourselves persmission to fully experience the pleasure of our dreams, we naturally begin to move toward them without even realizing it.
Dreams Take Many Forms
There is no single way to achieve a dream.
One person’s path to financial freedom may look like disciplined saving and investing, while another’s may be about buying and building businesses, or acquiring a portfolio of real estate investments. A physical challenge could mean running a marathon or hiking the Madeira Island Ultra Trail of 115K cross-island in four days or simply being able to become strong enough to climb the stairs. Creating a dream home may be about designing a brand-new space, or painting your ceilings kelly green.
The secret is to stay connected to the vision and remain open to the different ways it can come to life.
The essence of DREAMS is that they are uniquey yours. They reject what others may think or say. They have you swaying side to side and round and round instead of marching straight on. That's what makes the journey so fulfilling. So, take the time to dream boldly and don't ever quit! After all, a 'Life just right' isn't about a singular path-- it's about embracing the infinite possibility that makes life beautifully, perfectly yours.
The Dream Home: A Reflection of Your Vision
A dream home is a reflection of who you are and how you want to live. It's the space where you feel at ease, where your energy is restroed and where life feels just right. It can be sweepting views and sunlit rooms; a zoay pied-a-terre filled wiht personal touches and memories. It could be a place designed for time spent wiht friends and family, a sanctuary for cretivity or even a home with kelly green ceilings. @allisongraced is ecstatic and joy-filled with her kelly green ceilings. Her story made me think so I wanted to share here. No matter the form it takes, your dream home represents the freedom to shape your surrondings in a way that brings you joy, comfort and inspiration.
I have an absolutely lovely 300 year old home in the seacoast of NH, one that I truly appreciate, yet my dream home still exists in my mind and has for many years. It's taken on a new shape and form and has become closer to me than ever. Some days, I believe with absolute certainty that I deserve it and that I'll make it happen. Others, doubt creeps in - I wonder if I can afford it, if it's practical, and even ask why I need it. I know this: the power of thought is strong and if I let go, I give up. I know WINNERS don’t quit. DREAMS don’t become reality by second-guessing them; they come to life when we hold onto them fiercely, believe in their possibility, and take steps—big or small—toward making them REAL.
More than once, I've offered reminders to othera to hold on to the dream, when timing isn't right. And I've advised around the many paths to reach your dream, land the dream house, make the move. I believe in you and your dreams and I know your dreams are waiting for you.
