There is bus transportation from the Reading Depot on the Malden line serving Wakefield, Melrose and Malden to Oak Grove  and Malden Center T-Stations.

Due North of the center of Boston, its history, sporting and cultural events and opportunities, Reading still feels like it's farther away with open space, recreation areas, tree-lined streets and residential neighborhoods.
