Reading is an easy 25 minute trip in to Boston by car via Rte 93 or MBTA Rail from downtown Reading to Boston at North Station in 30 minutes. Just 12 miles north of the center of Boston, it's a mid-sized town with outstanding services for a population of under 25,000 residents on 9.9 square miles. Its small-town feel appeals to those who want to come 'home' to the comfort and safety of their hometown with super convenience to Interstate 95, Rtes 128, 62, 129 and 28. There is bus transportation from the Reading Depot on the Malden line serving Wakefield, Melrose and Malden to Oak Grove and Malden Center T-Stations.
From Gov't Center and the bustle of activity among the buildings of the Boston skyline (inset photo) to downtown Reading, it's an escape with easy access no matter how you travel. The center has a variety of retail and service establishments, and Memorial Park and Washington Park playgrounds are just 2 of the many recreational opportunities in Reading. Friends of Recreational Reading (FORR) promotes diversity in recreational development and uses for all residents of town.
Due North of the center of Boston, its history, sporting and cultural events and opportunities, Reading still feels like it's farther away with open space, recreation areas, tree-lined streets and residential neighborhoods.
With its easy access for commuters and proximity to downtown Boston, Reading's Master Plan is committed to an improved downtown with more amenities, and a restaurant, retail and service mix as a goal to better serve residents and to attract new businessess that will thrive in Reading and adding to the economic stability of existing retailers and service businesses as well.
Reading Schools are highly ranked among area schools and the recent remodel of Reading Memorial High School in 2007 is known for academic excellence. Elementary and Middle Schools are located in neighborhood settings and serve as convenient and smaller 'communities' within the town itself.

when you want to sell your property in Andover?
Thank you so much. More than that, we could not have imagined selling the house would be so much work after 40 years nor could we have dreamt the process would go so smoothly with you on our side. It’s been a long journey (and a long winter) but you’re a very special person and that comes through with your work. You have a plan from early on and every step of the way so that we felt looked after and got the results we wanted; even better! Everything you did was with our interests and goals in mind and you know who to call whether it’s photographs, mopping the floors, or outstanding promotional pieces.

Susan delivered on 100% of what she promised during our initialinterview. Her knowledge of the current market conditions andno-nonsense, down to earth approach made her the clearchoice out of all the agents we met with. Her experience and creativity was evident in her marketing plan, staging of the house and MLS listing. They ultimately attracteddozens of prospective buyers, leading to a quick sale (less than1 week) at above list price to a couple that absolutely loved thehome.Susan also guided us through a family crisis during the sale (adebilitating medical condition suffered by my sister/half-owner),helping us to navigate around any obstacles in our path. I would not hesitate to recommend Susan and her team. Theyare a group of consummate professionals who go the extra mileto understand the needs of their clients and deliver upon theirpromises. We had a great sales experience and couldn't havebeen any more satisfied with the results.Thank you, Susan! Steve Tatarunis
We had previous experience with another broker that made us weary of going on the market again. Susan
listened to our needs and addressed them. We feel she provided us with service customized to meet our
particular circumstance and she sold our home in an astounding six days. What a relief it was to work with a
capable, consummate professional who cared about our home and our family.
Susan was patient and clear throughout marketing period. She protected our interests and made certain we
understood each aspect of the sales process.
Susan always responded to calls and emails immediately. She listened to our every concern, no matter how
trivial. Susan also guided us toward the best outcome for our investment.
The administrative staff, photographer, stager, other agents and all members of Susan's team were
supportive, helpful and informative. They assisted in putting our property in its best light and assured that
closing was a seamless and smooth process.
Susan Rochwarg is a superstar among her peers. I'm so proud of myself for choosing her to sell my home!!
